Staying productive has become almost a chore in itself, especially with so much distraction all around us! We would rather scroll through Instagram or read up on Twitter News instead of checking off our To-Do lists. Thankfully there are SO MANY apps available to help improve our productivity and keep us on track... But what ones are worth it and what should we steer clear from?
I've made a list of my top 10 Productivity Apps that will make completing those tedious tasks something to look forward to and ultimately transform your life!
(Best of all... They're free!! ).
Don't worry, clicking on external links will open new windows so feel free to explore without losing your spot in this post!
You have probably heard of this app more often than you've heard of Meghan Markle's pregnancy, but if you are running a blog or a website and are using Pinterest and/or Instagram to promote your brand, Tailwind is a necessity!
It's a bit to get used to, and not as user friendly as it could be, but once you learn the ropes, Tailwind becomes a breeze to deal with.
Before using Tailwind, my Pins would receive little to no exposure (I'm talking 0-3 views at most!). My first post on Tailwind received 4k views in just three days!
In order to gain this type of exposure on Tailwind, you have to join Tailwind Tribes (which can be done right on the app). I haven't yet tried Tailwind for Instagram though but once I give it a whirl I can definitely write a post specifically for this app!

2. Google Drive
If I had to choose, Google Drive would be my number one app used everyday! Unlike Microsoft word (or anything related), you do not have to pay for a subscription and you don't have to worry about Google Drive using up any space on your computer! It stores on a cloud, you can easily sync with other computers/users and also password protect your files if needed.
Google Drive also offers all Office programs: word, excel, power point, and more. It's super easy to use and will help improve your organization by keeping all of your important notes in one place.

Canva is perfect for creating anything you could possibly need to promote you and/or your business! Whether it's social media posts, flyers, logos or resumes, Canva has it all. It's free to sign up but there is the option to buy a business plan which allows you to upload your own custom fonts and other amazing features!
Instead of wasting your time with other photo editors, use Canva, it's quick, simple and professional!

Planoly is an app I use for Instagram planning. It allows you to upload photos BEFORE you post, which you can rearrange, delete and schedule so that you can make the most of your Instagram theme. There is an option to buy more features for this app to maximize it's user potential, but I find it does exactly what I need without spending anything.
Planoly also has an Affiliates page called StyleLink.it if you visit the URL that I am obsessed with! so not only does Planoly aid in productivity, but if you have a blog or offer an outlet for style brands to promote their products, I highly recommend this page!

Sketches is a free version of digital sketching similar Procreate. However you can purchase the premium pack which gives you more options and tools. I have personally never tried Procreate but I do love Sketches, especially for digital calligraphy practice.

6. Luminous Spirit Tarot
Okay so this one is a little different, and if you aren't one for Tarot reading or tracking moon cycles than you may want to just skip over this. But for those of you who do take part in Tarot readings and you don't know about the Luminous Spirit Tarot app, than you are missing out! This app is perfect for documenting your readings, keeping track of the moon cycles, aligning your readings with the moon cycle, and it also holds a complete database of all tarot card meanings. I've been reading Tarot for a few years now and I still go back to this app regularly! Not to mention how stunning this app is!

7. My Water
My Water is simply just an app that tracks your water consumption. Now it is a very basic app, but if you're consciously trying to drink more water and are looking for an easy way to note how much you consume each day, this app is the best! It bases how much water you should consume based on your height/weight and exercise level, and sends you notifications throughout the day when it's time to drink!
I must note however, it does give you the option to add tea/coffee/juice consumption, but I don't find this to be the most accurate as the app counts a cup of coffee the same it would a cup of water. But if you only use this app for water tracking, there's nothing wrong with it and something I use everyday !

I doubt I need to get into Evernote too much as it has been around for a while and is one of the most well-known productivity apps out there! Evernote is a fun, simple way to take and organize notes for really anything! Whether it be To-Do lists, grocery lists or student notes, Evernote offers it all! Some features included in this app are: Document Scanning, note sync, templates and much more.
Evernote does offer premium plans where some features may not be available otherwise, but even the basic version is a wonderful addition to help improve your productivity and organization!

9. Pocket Schedule Planner
The Pocket Schedule Planner is a student specific app, but a great one none the less!
Keep your course schedule and important dates all in one place without the paper!
This app is not only a god send in terms of organization, but it is also beautiful!

10. Focus Keeper
This is another super simple app that actually does wonders if it's what you're looking for. The Focus Keeper is great because it times you when you're doing a certain task. Staying productive means knowing when to take a break! and the Focus Keeper helps with exactly that. Start the app and it will count down your desired time, advise you when to take your break, and it will even time your break too ( for those who get easily distracted ). This app is perfect for those on a tight schedule or who need the extra push to stay on track.
