We are encouraged to care for our physical and mental health, but how often are we advised to focus on ourselves spiritually? Although Spiritual health is a major component to becoming a well-rounded and healthy individual, it's often overlooked.
Focusing on spiritual health doesn't mean picking up a religion, but instead it's about finding a better understanding of who you are and your existence. It also allows you to let go of ego, attract and emit positive, radiant energy and shift into a higher vibrational state of consciousness.
Practicing spiritual self care aligns you with your highest self and brings you closer to your purpose in life. Your highest self is your truest form of "you", it is your connection to the universe and the energy within it. Your highest self is not influenced by fear or ego, but is centered and focused on your divine purpose. The closer you connect with your highest self, the more aware of your path you become.
Spiritual health helps with harnessing the power to overcome fear, anxiety, anger, and other negative emotions. Improving your spiritual self care leads to improving your self perception and the perception you have on the world around you.
How can you Prioritize your Spiritual Health?

In order to notice results you must remember that your spiritual health care is a journey, it requires dedication, commitment and love.
So what can you do?
Meditation is one of my favourite practices. It's all about grounding, centering and cleansing the mind. Meditation helps with relieving stress and anxiety, and allows you a moment to focus on what requires more attention in your life and what should be released.
Meditation can be done silently, guided or with music. I personally love listening to Binaural beats during all of my meditation sessions as this helps with activating desired brain frequencies.
Chakra & Energy cleansing
Cleansing your energy is important, and by focusing on your chakras during an energy cleansing session helps work through any energy blocks, remove stale energy and realign.
Each Chakra is unique and serves a different purpose. Focus on what part of your physical and energetic body requires most attention in order to understand what Chakra to work with.
De-clutter your space, your mind and your energy. Keeping unnecessary clutter causes chaos and anxiety in your life. This can be easily avoided by eliminating what is no longer needed. This could be anything from an over-stuffed closet to some stale relationships that you often receive grief from. Once you remove that clutter from your life, you will begin to feel healthier, more at peace and more independent again.
Separate yourself from electronics for a couple of hours a day. Remember that you are made up of energy. You want to focus on feeding your energy positively, which means decreasing the amount of time you spend on electronics and also on social media.
By removing yourself from social media for a few days a week, you compare yourself less and begin to value yourself more. You steer clear of any low vibrational energies such as gossip, drama and anger, and you use that time more productively.
Yoga & Stretching
Stretching and doing some yoga helps keep the body in check. Believe it or not, some yoga poses are perfect for strength and muscle building as well as weight loss.
Not only is Yoga great for physical health but it also works wonders in helping us connect to ourselves on a more intimate and soulful level. Take time to breathe and feel your body's movements, get to know your body more!
Shift your mindset
Your spiritual journey is a magical one! Learning to love and value yourself beyond the physical level, connecting to the universe and raising your vibration, it's the magic sauce to manifesting everything you want in life and creating your own perfect reality! But there's one secret ingredient: A positive mindset!
You cannot achieve greatness with doubt, and you cannot raise your vibration with a negative mindset. Learn to let go of your old limiting beliefs and remove the negative thinking from your brain because you're on a path of enlightenment. That negativity is no longer required!
